Tell us a bit about yourself
My name is Muneeb and I am with u-blox since 2017. I am working as a Scrum Master / Team Coach for Product Center Services with the two teams who are involved in developing products like PointPerfect, which is a GNSS data augmentation service, and like Security Services. I am from Lahore, Pakistan. I have done my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences, and my Masters degree in Business Administration.
When I first applied at u-blox, it was initially for a project management role. But during the interview process, u-blox told me about a new and exciting role that was aligned with my area of expertise and interest. This new created position was the first IoT development opportunity for back-end web services, which got me excited because it was both new and cutting edge. So I was delighted to accept it.
I further developed my professional skills since and currently I am working as a Teach Coach. In this role, I am mostly focused on enabling the team deliver as much value as they can and also facilitate them with scrum boundary events.
What do you particularly like in your working environment?
I work with an international team, we span areas like UK, Pakistan, Finland, Italy, and Switzerland. It is a truly collaborative environment with a complete respect of diversity, and a focus on solution-oriented approach. It is an absolute honor to work with such awesome people. Another highlight is the career opportunities I got at u-blox – from Cellular technology IoT engineer to Security services, and now working as a Team Coach – it is such a valuable experience to be part of the agile journey of u-blox.
How would you describe your working environment in a few words?
A collaborative, multi-cultural environment with development possibilities and experts around the world. It is awesome, and more importantly, it is fun. I feel proud working here at u-blox.
